Our academic programs support creative practitioners who strive for a world that’s brighter, more inclusive, relentlessly innovative, and ecologically resilient.
Merit College of Nursing Sciences offers the variety of programming you might find at a large university, but with the personalized learning experience of a small, liberal nursing college. We offer more than 36 majors, minors, graduate programs and advanced certificates, as well as degrees that can be earned fully online or combined with a traditional classroom experience.
Our multidimensional academic programs free students from conventional boundaries, allowing them to learn deeply from many perspectives. They can explore courses across our colleges and disciplines and become immersed in multiple areas of learning related to their areas of interest. The benefits of this academic freedom are enormous.
A transition to practice program is also available to new graduate registered nurses with no prior work experience. This 12-months clinical intensive hands-on program is geared to provide the new graduate nurse with the necessary tools needed to provide evidence-based/best practice nursing care with quality outcome.
All donations to the Student Emergency Fund will directly support our students as they adapt to changing circumstances.
Everything we teach at MCNS really puts our graduates above the competition in the field of patient emergency management.
